Well, we made it! The wait to see a picture and find out who our kid is over! He is on our minds all the time now and we have a face, and hands, and toes, and ears, and hair, and a nose to pray for! Praying ambiguously has turned into prayers with him in mind and it has been amazing.
Now the slightly tougher wait starts. We are waiting to go get him and bring him to his forever home. We hope to have him here by August.
We feel like we have been going 2 mph each day for the past 21 months and now we are going 90 mph!
I had been waiting to really get ready for him because we didn't know his age or gender or size for so long. But now we know and now I can go to town.
Erik's mom and dad come on Sunday to help us start the process. It will be fun to put a crib together ( thanks Kathy! ) and to share in the joy of preparation with grandma and grandpa.
No news yet on one trip or two... we'll let ya know.
