Well, I am officially overwhelmed! Where do you start?!
I would love any feedback from moms out there about what you bought that was the best thing ever and you couldn't live without as well as what you would never buy again.
Let me know!

If he seems to have strong legs and likes to use them, then a jumperoo is awesome! How old will he be when he arrives - 6 months? There are these teething net things, where you can put in an ice cube, carrot, whatever and they can chew on it without any worry of swallowing something too large - this is awesome with teething.
Congratulations - being a parent is absolutely amazing, and you have so many joyful moments ahead of you!
I guess some advice - be flexible and give yourself grace. Also, give your son grace. You never know what background an adopted child may come with, and (from the experience of being adopted and having friends who were adopted) really embrace him for who he is. I am sure you and Erik are going to be awesome parents :)
bet, agree! i asked the same question a while back and got some great responses. check out my post and comments: http://planaethiopia.blogspot.com/2010/02/nesting-baby-room.html.
ummmm...let's see. yeah the exersaucer or jumperoo is GREAT. he'll be 6ish months when you get him right? totally geeky, but we LOVE our video baby monitors.
those are my two thoughts :)
We love our wooden change table...It has a great drawer on the side for nappies, wipes, creams, etc...Great height for changing baby/toddler on and sturdy too!!
Hope this translates into USA!!???
