Grateful

I just want to take a minute of my day today to tell you what I am thankful for. It is good for my heart.
We leave in just 5 days to meet our son!
He is healthy and growing - AND ADORABLE!
Our church took a love offering for us this past weekend. It was amazing to see everyone give so sacrificially to us.
My girlfriends pulled off the best shower ever! It was great!
We did not hit that deer last week.
We have Ethiopian friends in Chicago who hooked us up with a phone, taxi driver who won't rip us off, and some house in Ethiopia.
We have enough money (and giftcards) to get a small camera to capture all of those first moments, beautiful country scenery, and fun times in Ethiopia - priceless!
We have not yet had to shovel snow, and won't have to until January.
We have trustworthy friends who are going to live in our house and take care of things while we are gone.
We have more than enough food, even when I don't go grocery shopping. mmm - cereal.
Our house is warm when it is cold outside and cool when it is warm outside.
Erik has a job that he is called to, good at, and loves to do!
My family lives close.
We have the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ - that in and of itself is more than enough!
